On Tuesday, January 19 from 7-9 pm at the Estrella Warbird Museum located at 4251 Dry Creek Road in Paso Robles, CALM (Citizens Advocating for Local Management of the Paso Robles Groundwater Basin) will be hosting an informational meeting on Measures A and B and a candidate forum for the public to hear and see the candidates who are running for the Board of the proposed Paso Robles Basin Water District. All eleven candidates will tell about themselves and why they are running for the board. We will take questions from the audience and give the candidates a chance to respond. After the question period, each candidate will be given an opportunity to summarize their views. Prior to the candidate’s forum, there will be a presentation by representatives from the Yes on A&B committee explaining these two ballot measures.
This event is open to the general public. Please take this opportunity to listen to the candidates and become educated about these two very important ballot measures that will have a far-reaching impact on our ability to stabilize our groundwater basin.
